Vipal is a leading name in the global rubber industry. For those less familiar, how would you describe the company and what defines its DNA?

At Vipal, we like to say that we were born on the road and we’ve been listening to it ever since. For more than 50 years, Vipal has been one of the world’s leading manufacturers in the rubber sector, especially in tyre retreading. Our DNA combines innovation, quality, and sustainability. We are proud of our Brazilian roots and global presence, with industrial units, distribution centres, and commercial operations across continents. What truly defines us is our commitment to people: our employees, our partners, and our customers. We work to keep businesses moving and to build relationships that last as long as our products do.

This year marks an important milestone - 20 years of Vipal in Europe. What does this anniversary mean for you and your team?

Reaching 20 years in Europe is a moment of pride and gratitude. It symbolises our ability to adapt, innovate, and serve an increasingly demanding market while maintaining the same values that guided us from the beginning. Europe has been key in consolidating Vipal’s global footprint, and this anniversary is about celebrating the trust we’ve built with our clients and our people. It is also a moment to look ahead and to continue investing in technology, service, and human development so that we can keep delivering solutions that make a difference.

How would you describe Vipal’s position and strengths in the European market compared to other players?

The European market is highly competitive, and that drives us to be better every day. Vipal stands out through the combination of product quality, reliability, and flexibility. But beyond that, our true differentiator is the way we care - for our customers, our team, and the environment. We are not just a supplier; we are a partner who supports our clients’ growth with end-to-end solutions. Our European operation reflects this philosophy: we are close, responsive, and always ready to find the most efficient way to meet each client’s unique needs.

Innovation and care for people seem to be at the heart of Vipal’s culture. How do you cultivate that internally?We see our people as the core of our success. At Vipal, we invest continuously in professional growth, leadership development, and emotional wellbeing. We encourage collaboration and innovation across all levels of the company. That is why we believe in creating opportunities through team events, training programs, and open communication, where everyone feels part of something meaningful. When our people are motivated, connected, and confident, that energy translates directly into better service and stronger relationships with our clients.

Speaking of people, this year you partnered with CoMantis to organize an internal team-building event. What motivated that decision?

We wanted to bring our commercial and administrative teams together in a way that went beyond routine meetings. The goal was to reconnect, inspire, and reinforce our leadership mindset. We were looking for something motivational, practical, and emotional, an experience that would reflect who we are as a company. CoMantis understood our vision and found the right delivery partner that designed an activity that balanced reflection and fun, strengthening communication, confidence, and resilience within the group. It was exactly what we needed to re-energize the team. 

How would you describe CoMantis’ approach during the preparation of these events?

What impressed us most was their clarity, responsiveness, and ability to act quickly without compromising quality. The second event celebrated Vipal’s 20 years in Europe with clients and partners. What was the vision behind that occasion?

We wanted the celebration to be meaningful and not just a formal gathering, but an experience that honored our journey and the relationships that made it possible. Our clients are part of the Vipal story, and this event was a way to thank them while looking forward to the future together. Again, CoMantis found a great-fit delivery partner who created a dynamic, motivational, and perfectly aligned with our brand session between clients and Vipal representatives. It inspired dialogue, creativity, and a sense of optimism about what lies ahead. Many of our guests told us they left feeling genuinely inspired and that is the best feedback we could hope for. The program was complemented by memorable fine-dining experiences in sunny Alicante.

How did CoMantis’ delivery align with Vipal’s culture and standards?

The next 20 years? Our focus is clear, to continue expanding our presence, deepening relationships, and delivering sustainable solutions that help our clients thrive. Europe is a market that challenges and inspires us in equal measure, and we are ready for the road ahead, quite literally.
